Membership Terms Agreement

MEMBERSHIP TERMS The Indoor Environmental Association (IEA) provides these MEMBERSHIP TERMS for those who are seeking a certified membership with the IEA. All members must agree and abide by these terms in order to receive and maintain an active membership. The IEA maintains the highest standards for all of its members and it expects its members to the same. Members of all levels must abide by these standards at all times. By joining the IEA as a member you are voluntarily agreeing, as an entitled member of your organization, that your organization and all who are affiliated with it, including yourself, will abide by the IEA Standards. If the member fails to conduct itself by the IEA Standards, the IEA retains all rights and judgments to decline, suspend, or terminate membership. IEA members are to always maintain ethical business behaviors whether they directly involve the public or not. All public business behaviors must be conducted with full recognition of local, state, and federal laws, honest and ethical advertising practices, honest disclosure of products/services/job results to vendors, clients, or other parties, fair competition practices, industry standards set forth by the IEA or government entities, proper involvement in the IEA Consumer Mediation Program (CMP) for customer complaints or inquiries, and proper workmanship through any products or services offered. You also agree that all application information that you are submitting is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Inaccuracies in applications submitted may result in the declination of a membership application without the possibility of correction.
